Wow, Nick is soooo chicken!! There is four inches of ice! You could park four sxs right next to each other and be totally fine. Personally, I love being out on ice. I love the rumbles it makes. Most of the time when it's cold, the cracking is the lake or pond actually making ice. What's really cool is when the logging companies haul across a lake. It appears as though the truck disappears from afar. The ice actually bows under the weight. It is so cool to witness.

You all should see if you can conquer the terrain at Cerro Gordo and help the Ghost Town Living channel try to get some of the old mining equipment that is on his property.

I can remember going to watch some lake ice races (cars) here in Minnesota back in the 70's. They would pull there haulers onto the ice (semi's with semi trailers). Walking around over by where the trucks were parked (on the ice) you could occasionally here the ice cracking and creaking, but, it never gave way...

@sxsblog you guys need to find a bigger lake and and bring all of your toys with studden tires and make a whole day of it. Set up a longer track with multiple curves and bends, in addition to circle track. That would be so much fun to watch. And why not invite other sxs'ers to join you and make a race of it? Heck, you could even do drag race since racetober didin't happen last year.
